How many points can I earn for a charging session?
As a registered Shell GO+ Rewards member, you’ll earn 1 point for every 1 kWh charged at:
- Shell Recharge forecourts
- Shell Recharge branded destination sites (e.g. Waitrose, Aldi, Roadchef)
Please note:
• Roaming and on-street chargers are not eligible for points.
• Points will appear in your balance on the Shell App home screen.
• You can earn points on up to 5 charging sessions per day and 45 per month.
• Points are valid for 2 years from the date they appear in your account.
• It can take up to 24 hours for charging data records to be processed which may mean that your loyalty points will also take up to 24 hours to be awarded.

All Shell GO+ Rewards members – including those using Shell Recharge Fleet Solutions cards - can earn points at Shell Recharge branded charge posts*
To earn points:
• Use your Shell Recharge charge card when charging — either by tapping the card or using the digital token in the Shell App.
• Your charge card is automatically linked to your Shell GO+ Rewards account, so your EV charging activity is rewarded with points.
It’s that simple — just charge and earn!
It can take up to 24 hours for charging data records to be processed which may mean that your loyalty points will also take up to 24 hours to be awarded. *Shell Recharge On Street is excluded

The 200 bonus points are awarded when you first join and agree to receive marketing communications. Please allow up to 48 hours for the points to appear in your account.
If the points haven’t been added after that time, please contact our Customer Service team via CHAT.

How do I join Shell’s Loyalty Programme (Shell GO+ Rewards) as an EV driver?
Download the Shell App and register as a new customer, or sign in using the same login details you previously used for the Shell Recharge App. During setup, you’ll be asked what type of vehicle you drive; simply select electric (EV). It’s important to order and activate your charge card right away, as this links your EV charging activity to your Shell GO+ Rewards account and you’ll be able to start earning rewards straight away.
As a welcome, you’ll receive 300 points. Plus, if you opt into communications, you’ll get an extra 200 points after registering - and stay up to date with the latest offers and rewards.
