Financial rewards and benefits programme
Your pay is an important part of your employment with Shell. In addition to your competitive starting salary, the company recognises and rewards individual performance.

Shell Sharesave Scheme in the UK
Approved by the Inland Revenue and administered by the Halifax, our Sharesave Scheme allows Shell employees in the UK to save money and invest in Royal Dutch Shell plc.
You can decide how much you want to save (between £5 and £250 per month) and whether you want to opt for a 3 and/or 5 year scheme.
At the end of the savings period, you can either withdraw your savings in cash along with a tax-free bonus from the Halifax, or use the equivalent amount to buy shares in Royal Dutch Shell plc.

Time off and time out

Listening to our employees
We regularly conduct surveys among employees to identify any issues or areas for improvement. This can take the form of online surveys, discussion forums or interactive webcasts. For example, we regularly conduct the online ‘Shell People Survey’ on a global basis. This provides you with the opportunity to provide feedback, make suggestions on improving the work environment, input into developing policies and address areas of concern.
