Shell StartUp Engine UK is built around the needs of scale and growth-stage energy start-ups that are best placed to accelerate a fair and just energy transition, improve access to energy and help consumers make smarter energy choices.

Selected start-ups will join a 12-month innovation cycle that will include the following elements:
Innovation sprints
Immersive events to get advice on most pressing challenges and build connections with mentors (business leaders, energy and innovation experts).
Engagement series
Curated events to connect to investors, potential customers and experts and build a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.
Ongoing support
Introductions and ad hoc support from the Unreasonable community.
The programme is built on Shell UK’s 38-year legacy of supporting entrepreneurs and Unreasonable’s strengths, experience and expertise in delivering immersive programmes for start-ups that tackle the world's most intractable social and environmental challenges.
