UK Mobility & Convenience General Manager, Janine Albrecht Webb, explains a little more about the exciting investment opportunity for Shell Retailers.
Today’s Service Stations are much more than selling fuel. Customers are looking for a broader range of products and services provided by people who will take the time to understand and meet their needs. We are proud of our Service Stations’ extensive and varied energy (fuels as well as EV charging), car care and convenience retail offer, including car/jet wash, parcel pick-up/drop off and home delivery.
It’s not just our relationships with Co-op, Little Waitrose and Costa that make Shell Service Stations the front runners of retailing: with more than 43,000 branded outlets serving over 30 million customers per day globally, we’re offering a multiple investment opportunity that’s nothing short of world class. Consistent, top quality customer service is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re looking for ambitious, business-minded people to help take our business to new levels of success.

Who We’re Looking for
The ideal Shell Retailer has:
- Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the customer journey.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Financial acumen to drive profitability and manage costs.
- Ideally experience in retail, convenience retail, grocery, forecourt operations or has managed & driven their own business
- A self-starting, motivated attitude with a drive to succeed.
- A full UK driving licence
Returns on Your Investment
Your income will depend on the type of stations you run and their locations, but you can look forward to potential earnings of between £65,000 and £80,000 per annum (for a cluster of six sites), with the opportunity for additional earnings if you exceed targets and control your costs. Please note, these figures are not guaranteed.
