Shake to win Terms and Conditions

Summary Terms

Only Shell GO+ Rewards members are eligible to participate in this Promotion.

To be eligible for one (1) game play of Shake to win in the Shell mobile application (the “Shell App”), Shell GO+ Rewards members must visit a Shell service station, fill up a minimum of £10 of any Shell fuel during a single transaction and scan their Shell App with their fuel purchase.

Shell GO+ Rewards members can play Shake to win for a chance to win an instant prize a limited number of times during the Promotional Period between 09:00 on 1/12/2025 and 23:59 on 24/12/2025.

Shake to win winners will receive their instant fuel rewards into the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account. Bonus points will be assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Promotion

1.1. The Promoter of the Shake to win (the “Promotion”) is Shell U.K. Oil Products Limited (as agent for Shell U.K. Limited), Shell Centre, York Road, London, SE1 7NA.

1.2. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Shell GO+ Rewards” is the loyalty scheme operated by Shell and a “Shell GO+ Rewards member” is a member of Shell GO+ Rewards and “Shell fuel” is petrol or diesel.

1.3. The Promotion will be available in the Shell App in England, Scotland, and Wales from 09:00 on 1/12/25 to 23:59 on 24/12/25 (“Promotional Period”).

1.4. The Promoter informs the users about rules for conducting the Promotion by publishing these Terms and Conditions on the Shell App.

2. Participants

2.1. This Promotion is open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales, who are (at the time of entry) aged 18 years or over and who are members of the Shell GO+ Rewards loyalty scheme. Employees of the Promoter, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of, or supply of prizes for, the Promotion are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

2.2. Participants must be a Shell GO+ Rewards member and must have downloaded and installed the Shell App on a mobile smart device prior to making a qualifying transaction to be able to scan their Shell App as part of the transaction and to be eligible to play the Shake to win game.

2.3. Persons who wish to Participate in the Promotion but are not members of Shell GO+ Rewards may join the loyalty scheme completely free of charge if they are 18 or over and have a permanent address in the UK. They need to download and install the Shell App on their mobile device and register their account before making their qualifying transaction. 2.4. Shell GO+ Rewards members transacting with a B2B Commercial Fleet card are eligible to play Shake to win with a qualifying transaction of £10 or more of any Shell fuel where their Shell App is scanned as part of the transaction.

2.5. Shell GO+ Rewards members transacting via Pay at Pump are eligible to play Shake to win with a qualifying transaction of £10 or more of any Shell fuel.

3. Condition for participation in Shell GO+ Rewards games

3.1. During the Promotional Period in the Shell GO+ games section of the Shell App the following game is available: Shake to win

3.2. To unlock the game Shake to win, Participants who meet the conditions under section 2 above must make a qualifying transaction of £10 or more of any Shell fuel at Shell service station during the Promotional Period and scan their Shell App.

4. How to play Shake to win

4.1. First, Participants must unlock the game Shake to win as set out in section 3 above, then click on Shell GO+ Games.

4.2. The Shake to win game will be unlocked for the Participant to play for 20 days.

4.3. Click on ‘Start Game’ to play the game.

4.4. Once animation ends, if the Participant has won, the prize will be indicated on the screen.

4.4.1. Shake to win winners will receive their instant fuel rewards into their Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account for them to redeem before the expiry date of the reward. Bonus points will be assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account. Points are valid for two years from the time they are reflected in an account in the Shell App.

4.4.2. The prizes that a Participant can receive in the game Shake to win are specified in section 5 of these Terms and Conditions.

4.5. During the Promotion Period, a Participant can qualify to play Shake to win a maximum 3 (three) times per day and subject to item 4.6 below. To unlock each of these 3 (three) games the relevant condition for participation described in section 3 must be fulfilled. To avoid doubt, if a member wishes to play Shake to win three times a day, they must make three separate transactions where a minimum of £10 or more on any Shell fuel is purchased and where the member’s Shell App is scanned.

4.6. During the Promotional period, a Participant can play Shake to win a maximum of 42 times.

5. Shake to win prizes

5.1. The following instant win prizes will be automatically assigned to the winning Shell GO+ Rewards members’ accounts. All prizes are subject to Shell GO+ Rewards terms and conditions which can be found here.

5.2. £100 (4 x £25) of Shell fuel: 25 prizes

5.2.1. Winners of £100 of Shell Fuel will have this prize assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account in the form of 4x £25 consecutive fuel rewards.

5.2.2. Winners of £100 of Shell Fuel will have a £25 Shell fuel reward added to their Shell GO+ Rewards account within 30 minutes of redeeming their previous £25 Shell fuel reward, until all four £25 fuel rewards are redeemed.

5.2.3. Each £25 fuel reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.2.4. Winners of £100 of Shell Fuel have 120 days from date of first issue to use all four £25 Shell fuel rewards.

5.3. £25 off Shell fuel: 400 prizes

5.3.1. Winners of £25 of Shell fuel will have this prize assigned to the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.3.2. This reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.3.3. Winners of £25 of Shell Fuel have 90 days from date of issue to use this fuel reward.

5.4. £5 off Shell V-Power: 1000 prizes

5.4.1. Winners of £5 of Shell V-Power will have this prize assigned to the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.4.2. This reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.4.3. Winners of £5 of Shell V-Power have 90 days from date of first issue to use this fuel reward.

5.5. 10 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points: 1,000,000 prizes

5.5.1. Winners of 10 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points will have 10 points assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account within 30 minutes of completing the relevant game play.

5.6. 20 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points: 200,000 prizes

5.6.1. Winners of 20 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points will have 20 points assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account within 30 minutes of completing the relevant game play.

5.7. 50 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points: 20,000 prizes

5.7.1. Winners of 50 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points will have 50 points assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account within 30 minutes of completing the relevant game play.

5.8. 100 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points: 5,000 prizes

5.8.1. Winners of 100 Shell GO+ Rewards bonus points will have 100 points assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account within 30 minutes of completing the relevant game play.

5.9. 5p per litre off Shell V-Power: 2,500 prizes

5.9.1. Winners of 5p per litre off Shell V-Power will have this prize assigned to the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.9.2. This fuel reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.9.3. Winners of 5p per litre off Shell V-Power have 90 days from date of first issue to use this fuel reward.

5.10. Free hot drink: 1000 prizes

5.10.1. Winners of a free hot drink will have this prize assigned to the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.10.2. This reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.10.3. Winners of a free hot drink have 90 days from date of assignment to use this reward at a participating Shell service station.

5.11. 50% off a hot drink: 5000 prizes

5.11.1. Winners of 50% off a hot drink will have this prize assigned to their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.11.2. This reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.11.3. Winners of 50% off a hot drink will have 90 days from date of issue to use this reward at a participating Shell service station

5.12. Free car wash or jet wash: 500 prizes

5.12.1. Winners of a free car wash or jet wash will have this prize assigned to the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.12.2. This reward is valid for one transaction only.

5.12.3. Winners of a free car wash or jet wash have 90 days from the date of assignment to use this reward at a participating Shell service station.

5.13. 50% off a car wash or jet wash: 500 prizes

5.13.1. Winners of 50% off a car wash or jet wash will have this prize assigned to the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5.13.2. This reward is valid for one transaction only

5.13.3. Winners of 50% off a car wash or jet wash have 90 days from the date of assignment to use this reward at a participating Shell service station.

5.14. To redeem a reward click ’redeem now’ in the Shell App and ensure it is activated. Rewards can be activated by toggling on. 

5.15. To redeem a reward winners must scan their Shell App when paying.

5.16. Only one money-off reward can be used per product per transaction. When scanning the Shell App to redeem a reward, no more than one money-off reward should be activated for each product being purchased.

5.17. Any balance remaining must be paid after redeeming a reward during a transaction.

5.18. If using Pay at Pump, once the reward is activated it will automatically be deducted from the Shell GO+ Rewards member’s balance.

6. Promoter Rights

6.1. The Promoter may at any time in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, and these Terms and Conditions.

6.2. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation.

6.3. The Promoter and its agencies and associated companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

6.4. If an act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.

6.5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

6.6. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part at any time.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1. The Promoter may collect and process the following data about Participants: name, contact number, email address, date of birth and county of residence.

7.2. The Promoter will process Personal Data in accordance with Shell privacy policy. Full details can be found at: https://www.shell.co.uk/privacy.html.

8. General

8.1. It is a member’s responsibility to check their Shell GO+ Rewards account (via the Shell App) to see whether there are any Rewards available to them at that time.

8.2. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.

8.3. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.

8.4. Promoter’s decision is final and binding in relation to all matters relating to the Promotion.

8.5. By entering this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as any further terms and conditions applicable to the Prizes (e.g., Shell GO+ Rewards conditions as to the use of fuel rewards).

8.6. Instructions provided at the point of entry and during claim process form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

8.7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to winner notifications or prizes. Neither the Promoter nor its agencies and associated companies will be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries, including any failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies or associated companies.

8.8. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England.
