Shell GO+ Rewards Terms and Conditions

1. Programme Overview

1.1 Programme. We are happy to reward your loyalty to Shell through this Shell GO+ Rewards Programme (“Programme”).
1.2. Rewards. The Programme offers many ways for you to avail of and enjoy any of our Shell GO+ Rewards (“Reward/s”):
1.2.1. Points that can be used to redeem gifts;
1.2.2. Stamps to claim drinks;
1.2.3. Member benefits such as discounts;
1.2.4. Other rewards from us or our partners, through games and promotions that we will offer from time to time.
1.3. Participating Service Stations, Products, and Services. The Programme and Rewards can only be availed of (i) in the United Kingdom, particularly in participating Shell service stations selected by us (“Participating Service Stations”), and (ii) for participating products and services also selected by us from time to time (“Participating Products and/or Services”). Please keep yourself updated with the list of Participating Service Stations, Products, and Services through the App or Website, or upon purchase.
1.4 Shell App Terms of Use. These Programme Terms form part of the Shell App Terms of Use which shall apply in full to your membership of the Programme and use of the Shell App.

2. How To Register

2.1. Qualification. You need to be a resident of the United Kingdom and at least 18 years old, so you can register and become a member of the Programme.
2.2. App and Website. You need to visit our website www.shell.co.uk (“Website”) or download our digital application (“App”) where:
2.2.1. you will register by providing certain personal data and complying with specific terms and conditions reasonably required for your membership in the Programme and use of the App or Website;
2.2.2. you will be informed about updates and changes in the Programme, including more ways to be eligible for Rewards; and
2.2.3. you will find the contact details of our customer service team, and other instructions and processes in case you have concerns about your membership and Rewards (“Customer Service”).
2.3. Membership Barcode. Once registered, you will be given a unique membership barcode that will be reflected in your account in the App or Website, or in the membership card and key fob that we may also give you on request (“your barcode”).
2.4. Scan Your Barcode Upon Checkout. Please make sure to scan your barcode upon checkout. Your purchases and transactions will not earn any Reward if, upon checkout, you are unable to scan your barcode either through the App, membership card, or key fob.
2.5. Non-Transferable. Your membership in the Programme is non-transferable. All purchases, earning, and redemption in this Programme will be made only by you. You cannot have multiple membership accounts.
2.6. Acceptance. Your registration or continued participation in the Programme indicates your acceptance of our terms and conditions, policies, and requirements (“Programme Terms”). These Programme Terms are between you and us. No other person will have any right to enforce any of these Terms.
2.7. Previous Rewards. This Programme supersedes our previous rewards programme, where you may have accrued a maximum of ten (10) visits and such other rewards from its last cycle (“Previous Rewards”). Upon your acceptance of the Programme Terms, your Previous Rewards will be converted into points that can be used in this Programme. Otherwise, your Previous Rewards will be cancelled by us.

3. How to Earn Points

3.1. Point-Earning Purchase. You can earn Shell GO+ Rewards Point (“Point/s”) if you purchase any of the following, using any accepted payment method including Shell Card, and scan your barcode at Participating Service Stations (“Point-Earning Purchase”)
3.1.1. one (1) Point for every 1 litre of Maingrade fuel.
3.1.2. two (2) Points for every 1 litre of Shell V-Power fuel; or
3.1.3. one (1) Point for every £1 spent on Participating Products in some Participating Service Stations selected by us, mainly those with Shell Select and Waitrose, and some with Co-op.
3.1.4. one (1) Point for every kWh of charging at participating Shell Recharge Charge Points
3.2. Bonus/Extra Points. You can also earn bonus or extra Points and Rewards during promotional campaigns, games, and offers that we may, from time to time, determine as a Point-Earning Purchase.
3.3. Maximum/Cap. You can have as many as five (5) Point-Earning Purchases per day. One checkout or payment is equivalent to one Point-Earning Purchase. If a Point-Earning Purchase is refunded or exchanged with a non-Point Earning Purchase, Points will also be removed accordingly. We will, from time to time, set a maximum or cap to limit the Points that you can earn on a daily or monthly basis.
3.4. Exclusion. Points cannot be earned on:
3.4.1. bunker fuel, Keyfuels, UK Fuels, OMV, Circle K and ENI, UTA, Total fuel card transactions;
3.4.2. tobacco and related products, vapes, phone cards, baby milk and powder, stamps, utility cards, e top-up and lottery, and any other age-restricted products as we will select;
3.4.3. purchases through the UberEats app unless we say so as part of a promotion; and
3.4.4. shop items and other products and services that we will, from time to time, select as not part of the Programme.
3.5. Validity Period. Points are valid for two years from the time they are reflected in your account in the App which will take effect at the end (December 31) of such second year, or until your membership is terminated.

Stamps

3.6. Stamp-Collecting Purchase. You can earn one stamp for every hot drink purchased through the machines of our selected partners at the Participating Service Stations ("Stamp-Collecting Purchase”). You will be given a stamp tracker.
3.7. Selected Partners. We will select the partners including any or all of the following: Costa Express, Starbucks, Waitrose, Boston, Tchibo, PG Tips, Lavazza, Nescafe machine, Cadbury, Censa, and Kenco.
3.8. Validity Period. Stamps are valid for two (2) years from the time they are reflected in your stamp tracker.

Member Benefits

3.9. Discounts. You may enjoy 10% discount on selected products and services at Participating Stations, such as shop items, selected car washes, Deli2Go items, Shell Helix engine oil, and others that we will, from time to time, offer at discounted price.
3.10 EV Charging Discount. You may enjoy a discounted rate when charging your EV at Shell Recharge Charge points. The latest discount per kWh can be found at: Shell Recharge Pricing | Shell UK and is subject to live updates and can change at any time.
3.11 Shell Card. Discounts may not be applicable when using a Shell Card, as specific pricing arrangements may have been contractually agreed upon between the Shell Card customer and Shell Fleet Solutions.

Other Rewards

3.12. Other Shell Rewards. We may offer other gifts or discounts on Shell products and services through games or promotions that we will organise from time to time (“Other Shell Rewards”). These will be subject to our specific terms and conditions including purchase requirements to qualify and earn (“Qualifying Purchase”), which will form part of the Programme Terms.
3.13. Partner Rewards. We may offer rewards from our selected commercial partners such as gifts and discounts on their products and services, which may be outside of our portfolio and subject to specific or separate terms and conditions that our partners may issue (“Partner Rewards”). Through the App and direct communication channels, you may receive from us information about Partner Rewards. We will only provide an online link to a third-party site where you can avail of the Partner Rewards, and we will not share your personal information to our partners or any third party. You are free to choose whether or not to go to such third-party site and avail of the Partner Rewards.

Other Conditions

3.14. Specific Terms. We may issue specific terms and conditions in earning these Rewards i.e., Points, Stamps, Member Benefits, Other Shell Rewards, and Partner Rewards, particularly in line with any present or future promotions that we will organise from time to time (“Specific Terms”). These Specific Terms will be considered part of the Programme Terms. We will make these Specific Terms accessible in the App or Website, and you are expected to read and understand them before participating in the Programme or any Reward.
3.15. Personalised Rewards. We may tailor our Rewards including Other Shell Rewards and Partner Rewards to fit your interests and needs. This means that the Rewards displayed in the App may be based on your purchase history or your use of Shell services and the data which you provided us with in connection with your participation in the Programme. In providing you with personalised Rewards we may create groups of customers, or “personal profiles”, based on your shopping interests, for example: we may present a personalised car wash reward depending on whether and when you have previously purchased a car wash. 3.16. Maximum/Cap. We will, from time to time, set a maximum or cap to limit the transactions, discounts, and all forms of Rewards that you can earn on a daily or monthly basis.
3.17. Highest Value. If you earn two or more Rewards for the same Qualifying Purchase, we will give you the Reward with the highest value based on our assessment.
3.18. Validity Period. These Rewards are valid for such period as we may, from time to time, set for each of them.

4. How To Redeem

4.1. Points. Points can be used to redeem or convert into Rewards using indicative cash value determined by us. We will, from time to time, determine the Points and the indicative cash value required for every Reward that we will offer. If you have the required number of Points, you can choose the corresponding Reward by following the instructions in the App or Website and then redeem it at the Participating Service Station by scanning your barcode upon checkout.
4.2. Stamps. Seven (7) stamps can be used to redeem or convert into a hot drink from our selected partners with machines at Participating Service Stations. You can redeem only one (1) free hot drink per day regardless of the number of your Stamp-Collecting Purchases. We may, from time to time, change the number of stamps required to claim any free drink, or the number of drinks that can be redeemed on a daily or monthly basis.
4.3. Exclusion. Rewards cannot be redeemed:
4.3.1. when using a Fuelcard (Shell branded or otherwise) to pay for the relevant transaction or in connection with any business-to-business purchases including any Shell Fleet Solutions transaction;
4.3.2. on tobacco and related products, phone cards, baby milk, stamps, utility cards, e-top-up and lottery or any other age restricted product at the discretion of Shell;
4.3.3. where purchases are made through a separate branded concession payment point; and,
4.3.4 on purchases in bulk, or which we determine (in our sole discretion) to be other than for personal consumption
4.4. Redemption Period. You need to redeem a Reward within 60 days from the time they are issued and reflected in your account in the App or Website, or within such period as we may set for each of the Rewards. Otherwise, redemption will no longer be allowed.
4.5. Multiple Rewards. You may use two or more Rewards for a single transaction if such Rewards are of different types. If both Rewards are the same, the Reward that expires first will be redeemed. If both Rewards have the same expiry, the one with higher value will be redeemed. You cannot also redeem Rewards in conjunction with any other reward or prize outside of the Programme, as the latter will be prioritised.
4.6. Maximum/Cap, No Cash Alternative or Substitution. You cannot claim the indicative cash value or alternative of any Reward, or exchange any Reward with another. We will, from time to time, set a maximum or cap to limit the number of Rewards that you can earn on a daily or monthly basis.
4.7. Other Conditions. The redemption is subject to the following:
4.7.1. availability of the Reward;
4.7.2. Participating Service Stations specified for every Reward;
4.7.3. technology or system used to administer every Reward; and
4.7.4. Specific Terms that we will, from time to time, issue for every Reward.

5. How To Stay and Enjoy Some More

5.1. Continuing Condition. As a condition of your membership and eligibility to avail of the Programme and Rewards, you need to always comply with the Programme Terms. You also need to keep your account updated with reasonable information as may be communicated and completed through the App, Website, or our Customer Service.
5.2. Due Diligence. You are responsible for the safety and security of your membership account including your card and key fob. If you have issues about the safety or security of your account, or if you lose your card or key fob, you need to immediately contact Customer Service and follow our instructions and requirements.
5.4. Avoid Dishonesty, Fraud, or Abuse. You must not commit any form of dishonesty, fraud, or abuse of the Programme. We will investigate any suspicion of such acts, implement interim controls including suspension or termination of your account and Rewards, and issue a decision or resolution which shall prevail with finality.
5.5. Dispute. You will lodge any dispute about your membership or Rewards through our Customer Service. We will use reasonable time to investigate and provide resolution. Our resolution on your dispute will prevail with finality.
5.6. Termination. We will terminate your membership, and your Points and Rewards will be cancelled and forfeited with immediate effect, if:
5.6.1. your membership account becomes inactive for two years by not making any transaction including Point-Earning, Stamp-Collecting, or Qualifying Purchases;
5.6.2. you breach any of the Programme Terms; or
5.6.3. you leave the Programme by deleting your account.
5.7. Variation. The Programme and Rewards are purely discretionary solely on our part and cannot be a source of vested rights on your part. The Programme Terms are also based on current circumstances considered by us and are intended to be general and merely indicative. We may, from time to time:
5.7.1. cancel, withdraw, or vary the Programme; or
5.7.2. substitute the Programme with an alternative rewards scheme and for these purposes, we may vary the existing Programme Terms, issue more specific terms and conditions, or cancel the same. Such updates shall be considered part of the Programme Terms, whether they are notified to or accepted by you.
5.8. Personal Data. Our Privacy Notice and the Shell App Supplementary Privacy Statement set out how we use your data in relation to the Programme. For matters regarding the processing of your personal data, please consult our Privacy Notice available at https://www.shell.co.uk/privacy/b2c-notice.html and the Shell App Supplementary Privacy Statement available at https://www.shell.co.uk/ShellAppSupplementaryPrivacyStatement.
5.9. Liability. Neither we or our affiliates and agents will be liable under, or in connection with, the Programme Terms, including the earning and redemption of Rewards, for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by you, us and our affiliates, and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. If we are found liable to answer for any liability for any claims or damages, including for any negligent act of omission, or breach in connection with the Programme, our and/or our affiliate’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed 100 GBP.
5.10 Other Programme Specific Terms. Any Shell GO+ Rewards earned when participating in other Shell Programmes (as defined in the Shell App Terms of Use), including EV Charging and Fuel Programmes shall be subject to the terms of such other Shell Programmes.
