Terms and Conditions for the “Tell Shell” Online Feedback monthly prize draw

Only Shell GO+ Rewards members are eligible to participate in this promotion.

To be eligible for and to enter into one (1) prize draw Shell GO+ Rewards member must: make a transaction at a Shell service station and scan their Shell mobile application (the “Shell App”), card or key fob following a transaction, complete the customer satisfaction Tell Shell online survey (the “Survey”) and select ‘yes’ when asked whether they want to participate in the Promotion.

Winners will be notified via the email address associated with their Shell GO+ Rewards account and will receive their prize into the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

1. The Promotion

1.1 The promoter of the “Tell Shell” Online Feedback monthly prize draw (the “Promotion”) is Shell U.K. Oil Products Limited (as agent for Shell U.K. Limited), Shell Centre, York Road, London SE1 7NA (the “Promoter”).

1.2. The Promotion runs from 00:01GMT on the first day of each calendar month to 23:59GMT on the last day of that calendar month.

1.3. The Promotion is intended to gather customer feedback on recent experiences at Shell service stations. Entry into the prize draw is optional and is offered as an incentive to Participants who complete the survey.

2. Participants

2.1. This Promotion is open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales, who are (at the time of entry) aged 18 years or over and who are members of the Shell GO+ Rewards loyalty scheme (“Participants”). Employees, officers, contractors, their immediate family members of the Promoter or any associated agencies or any third party directly associated with the administration of, or supply of prizes for, the Promotion are excluded.

2.2. Internet access is required for Participants to participate in the Promotion by completing the online Survey.

2.3. Persons who wish to Participate in the Promotion but are not members of Shell GO+ Rewards may join the loyalty scheme completely free of charge if they are 18 or over and are residents of England, Scotland and Wales. They need to download and install the Shell App on their mobile device and register their account before making a transaction. 3. How to Enter

3.1. To enter the monthly prize draw, Participants must complete the following steps in order during the relevant calendar month:

  1. make a transaction at Shell service station and scan their Shell App, Shell GO+ Rewards card or key fob at the time of that transaction; and
  2. receive an email invitation to the Survey (sent to the email address associated with the Participant’s Shell GO+ Rewards account); and
  3. complete and submit the Survey via the link provided to the email address associated with their Shell GO+ Rewards account, and when prompted in the Survey, select “yes” to enter the prize draw and submit the requested contact details.

3.2. Only Participants who receive the Survey invitation will be able to enter the prize draw.

3.3. A completed Survey qualifies as a single entry into the relevant prize draw for the month of entry. Only one entry per person per calendar month.

3.2 Participants must submit their Survey before 23:59 GMT on the last day of the applicable calendar month (the “Closing Time”).

3.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed, or entries not successfully completed due to technical problems of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

3.4 No applications from agents, advisors, franchisees, suppliers, third parties, organized groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.

4. The Prize Draw

4.1 There will be one prize draw per month.

4.2. The prize draws will be conducted by the Promoter. Each month, the names of all Participants who submitted a valid entry will be entered into an Excel sheet. The RAND function will be used to select the winners’ names on the next working day following the Closing Time for that month’s draw. When used in an Excel sheet, the RAND function returns a random number which is then cross referenced against the Participants’ name. The Promoter will ensure that the prize draw is conducted fairly and under proper supervision and will maintain an auditable record of the winner selection process.

4.3. Within 21 days of the Closing Time for the relevant prize draw, winners from the prize draw will be notified by the Promoter via the email address associated with their Shell GO+ Rewards account and will receive their prize into the Rewards section of their Shell GO+ Rewards account.

5. Prizes

5.1. There are 11 prizes available for each calendar month from the prize draw whilst the Promotion is running. These are as follows:

1 (one) reward of 20,000 Shell Go+ Rewards points/100 pounds to be used/exchanged for fuel/partner vouchers, screen/car wash, water and coffee(the “First Prize”); and 10 (ten) rewards of 2,000 Shell Go+ Rewards points/10 pounds to be used/exchanged for a fuel/partner vouchers, screen/car wash, water and coffee to the equivalent of £10 (the “Runner-Up Prize”).

6. Promoter Rights

6.1. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

6.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, system or software failures encountered on the Promotion Website or during entry into the Promotion. The Promoter tries to ensure the standard of the Promotion Website remains high but cannot be held responsible for interruptions of service beyond its reasonable control. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend temporarily the operation of the Promotion Website without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for any other reason beyond its reasonable control.

6.3. No cash alternative will be offered, and the prize is non-transferable. By accepting the prize, and insofar as is permitted by law, a winner agrees to hold the Promoter its affiliates and its associated agencies and companies harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the award of, the use or misuse of any prize. Where the law implies warranties, which cannot be excluded, the Promoter’s liability for breach of those warranties is limited to resupplying the prize (or paying for the costs thereof), where this is permitted by law. A winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this Promotion or use or misuse or redemption of any prize.

6.4. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part at any time. In addition, the Promoter reserves the right to extend any time limit relating to the Promotion where reasonably necessary.

6.5. The Promoter's decision is final in every situation including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.6. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part at any time where reasonably necessary.

6.7. In any event the Promoter, its affiliates and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

7. General and Personal Data Protection

7.1. By entering the Promotion Participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.

7.2. The Promoter may collect and process the following data about Participants: name, contact number, email address, date of birth and county of residence.

7.3.Personal Data of the Participants will be processed for the purposes of organising and managing the Promotion (including arranging receipt of and/or participating in the prizes) and communicating with Participants in relation to the Promotion and prizes. 8. Governing Law

8.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them.

8.2. If any clause or provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared by a court to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, this declaration shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other clause or provision within.
