1. What is Pay with points?
Pay with points is another great way we are helping Shell GO+ Rewards members save money. Members can redeem their points against their transactions at till.
2. How do I Pay with points?
You simply scan your Shell App, card or key fob and inform the Customer Service Champion that you’d like to pay with points. Your points will be redeemed against your transactions at till.
3. What can I use Pay with points for?
Pay with points can be redeemed against fuel (not applicable for Shell Recharge) and/or selected in-store products purchases.
4. I tried paying with less than 200 points and it didn’t work?
The minimum amount of points that can be redeemed in any single transaction is 200. The redemption value is equal to £1.
5. I’m a new member of Shell GO+ Rewards, when I can start using Pay with points?
You can start redeeming points only once you have earned 25 points by making purchases of fuel, Shell Recharge and/or selected in-store purchase, excluding bonus points.
6. I tried paying with an uneven number of points, why didn’t this work?
Members can only redeem an even number of points in any transactions. E.g. 246 points. If an uneven number of points is selected, then it will be rounded down to the closest even number.
7. Can I Pay with points when using Pay at Pump?
Yes, in a transaction when you pay with your personal method of payment.
8. Can I Pay with points with my Shell GO+ Rewards card or key fob?
Yes, you can. Please remember to scan and let the Customer Service Champion know you’d like to pay with points. It is easier to track your ongoing points balance if you download the Shell App and log into your Shell GO+ Rewards account.
9. Do I need to pay for the full value of the transaction when using my points, or can it be a partial payment?
You can redeem your points for any amount up to and including the full value of the transaction, however the minimum amount of points that can be redeemed in any single transaction is 200.
10. Can I use Pay with points at all Shell service stations?
Yes, you can pay with points at all Shell service stations in the United Kingdom subject to Shell GO+ rewards terms & condition.
11. If I purchased a product using points and then request a refund, will my points be returned to my account?
No, points used for redemption cannot be returned to your account. Products purchased using points can only be exchanged for good(s) of an equal value, subject to Shell GO+ rewards terms & condition.
12. Can I redeem points and not be a member of Shell GO+ Rewards?
No, you need to be a member of Shell GO+ Rewards in order to redeem points on fuel and/or selected in-store products purchases.
13. Is there a maximum number of points I can redeem?
Yes, you can redeem up to 5,000 points per day.
14. Can I redeem points when using my Shell Fleet & CRT cards for payments?
No, you may not redeem points when paying with Fleet or CRT cards.
15. Can I redeem points in transactions which include special discounts/offers and/or earning of stamps?
Yes, you can redeem points in transactions which have had offers, discounts or stamps applied to it.
16. I tried redeeming my points in a transaction and it didn’t work. What should I do next?
Customers can connect to the Customer Service Centre by selecting in their Shell App:
"More" then "Help Centre", followed by ''Chat" to discuss the issue. Customer can make use of the chat option with live agents between the hours of 8 am to 4.45 pm UK time.
17. Can I pay with points at all Shell service stations?
You can pay with your points at most Shell service stations, however you currently can’t pay with points at the following Shell service stations:
- Threeways Garage
- Tollgate Service Station
- Ramper Service Station
- Queensway Service Station
- Sandwell Service Station
- Hales Service Station
- Watermill Service Station
- Victoria Service Staion

Why didn’t I receive my Shell GO+ Rewards points when I used Pay at Pump?
We are working hard to fully integrate our mobile payment service into Shell GO+ Rewards. You may experience a delay in seeing your points appear in your points balance when using Pay at Pump. Please be aware that this delay can be anywhere between a 24 hour to 4 day (Friday- Monday) lapse time.

How do I charge my EV away from home?
The Shell Recharge charge card provides customers with access to a network of over 370 roaming partners, including charge points. This means you can charge on-the-go at public charge points all across Europe. Our Shell Recharge charging network spans across Europe, so you can charge in over 33 countries. When you get to the public charge point, you can start a charging session with an active charge card or key fob. Alternatively, you can use your contactless bank card or Apple/Google pay at most charge points. Just like you would in your home country, you can see if the charge point is available using the Shell App. If it is, a green checkmark icon will be shown.
Can I redeem Shell GO+ Rewards if I choose to use a commercial fleet card to pay for a transaction?
You can earn points if you choose to pay with a Shell Euroshell fleet card but can only redeem rewards when you pay for a transaction with a personal method of payment.
Will there be changes to Shell's public charging or roaming network in Europe?
There will be no changes to our public charging services. Shell Recharge gives access to 700,000 charge points across Europe. This includes our Mobility sites, retail destinations and our integrated network of roaming partners. Unlock any charge point in the network with one single account and pay one monthly bill. How can I get a receipt of my charging session(s)?
How much are my points worth?
The standard conversion rate is:
1 Point = 0.5p
2 Points = 1p
100 Points = 50p
200 Points = £1
500 Points = £2.50
1,000 Points = £5
Points have no value until they are redeemed. Points cannot be sold, traded, or exchanged for cash.

Q. What is the ‘Enjoy 100 Bonus Points on Screenwash' promotion?
A. For the promotional window (between 4th March 2026 and 26th May 2026), Shell GO+ Rewards members will receive 100 points in total when buying a qualifying screenwash at participating Shell service stations during the promotion period. E.g. When you buy one screenwash, you will receive 100 points. When you buy two screenwashes you will receive 200 points and so on until you reach the maximum points cap.

A. Promotion will run from 00:01 4th March 2026 until 23:59 26th May 2026.

Q. How many times can someone take advantage of the promotion?
A. The bonus points count toward your daily and monthly points limit. You can earn up to 700 points per day, and up to 21000 points per month.
Also, you can have as many as five (5) point-earning purchases per day. One checkout or payment is equivalent to one point-earning Purchase. If a point-earning purchase is refunded or exchanged with a non-Point earning purchase, points will also be removed accordingly.
Q. How does someone qualify to take part in the promotion?
A. To qualify for the promotion, members need to be a registered Shell UK GO+ Rewards member and swipe their app, card or key fob when purchasing screenwash at a participating service station during the promotional window.
Q. I’m not a GO+ Rewards member, but I’d like to get 100 points on screenwash. How do I join?

Q. I have a Shell card, do I qualify for the discount when purchasing with my Shell card?

What is Pay at Pump and how can it benefit me?
We know that people lead very busy lives. Sometimes you don’t need coffee, milk or groceries from our shop. Or maybe you have a child or pet in your car and you just want to Pay at Pump.
Shell Pay at Pump is a mobile fuel payment service available at most Shell stations, it allows you to pay for fuel on your mobile quickly and easily from your car. Using the Pay at Pump service within the Shell app you just simply:
- Enter and confirm the pump number from the comfort of your vehicle
- Using Apple Pay, Android Pay or PayPal, select your payment of choice to pay for your fuel quickly without queuing up in store.
- Wait for the 'Start Fuelling' message to appear.
- Then Fill Up with fuel and drive off. It really is as simple as that.
When do my Shell GO+ Rewards points expire?
Points are valid for a minimum of two years (24 months) from the date they appear in your account. They will expire at the end of the second year (December 31), unless your membership is terminated before then.

Is there a maximum number of points I can earn in Shell GO+ Rewards?
You can earn:
on up to 5 transactions per day
up to 700 points per day

With a Shell Recharge card, do I get access to charge points and EVSEs?
Yes. With the Shell App and charge card, you get access to every charge point (EVSE) in the network. This includes Shell Recharge charge points and charge points from any of the other roaming operators that we partner with.
How does Pay at Pump work at a Shell Station?
To use Pay at Pump at a Shell Station follow these steps:
- Park at the pump and switch off the engine
- Launch the Shell App from your mobile, tap Pay at Pump
- Enter your pin code or use touch ID
- Tap the yellow bar to start – the app will locate your Shell Station
- Once your location is confirmed, enter your pump number – the app will be ‘Authorising your account’
- Exit your vehicle and Start fuelling your tank – (put your mobile somewhere safe while fuelling)
- From the comfort of your vehicle, check your mobile – the transaction will be on screen
- A receipt will be sent to your email address.
Now you’ve filled up, you’re ready to go.
Can anyone use Pay at Pump?
Yes, if you have the Shell app on your mobile phone but for safety reasons, the Shell app isn't suitable for motorcyclists.
You won't be able to use the app with a fuel card or fuel vouchers and please note that Android users will need to have version 6.0 and above and Apple users will need iOS 11 or higher.
How many points can I earn for a charging session?
- Shell Recharge forecourts
- Shell Recharge branded destination sites (e.g. Waitrose, Aldi, Roadchef)
Please note:
• Roaming and on-street chargers are not eligible for points.
• Points will appear in your balance on the Shell App home screen.
• You can earn points on up to 5 charging sessions per day and 45 per month.
• Points are valid for 2 years from the date they appear in your account.

Q. What is the ‘Enjoy 100 Bonus Points on Meal Deal’ promotion?
A. For the promotional window (between 23rd April 2026 and 20th May 2026), Shell GO+ Rewards members will receive 100 points in total when buying a qualifying meal deal at participating Shell service stations during the promotion period. E.g. When you buy one meal deal, you will receive 100 points. When you buy two meal deals you will receive 200 points and so on until you reach the maximum points cap.

Does Pay at Pump work with all types of fuel?
Yes, you can Pay at Pump with any type of fuel from a participating Shell Service Station.
How do I earn points in Shell GO+ Rewards?
Members will earn points when scanning their Shell App, card or key fob when purchasing fuel. At participating Shell service stations points can be earned on selected in-store products. Upon making payment, members will earn:
2 points with every litre of Shell V-Power fuel..
1 point with every 1 litre of regular Shell fuel..
1 point per £1 spent on selected in store products at participating Shell service stations.
Points cannot be earned on:
- Bunker fuel, Keyfuels, UK Fuels, OMV, Circle K and ENI, UTA, Total fuel card transactions;
- Tobacco and related products, vapes, phone cards, baby milk, stamps, utility cards, e top-up and lottery; any other age restricted products, such as scratch cards. However, points can be earned on alcohol purchases.
- Purchases of in-store items from non-participating stores at Shell service stations.
- Purchases through the UberEats app unless informed by Shell of a specific promotion.
