Public Charge Point Regulations - Reliability

Charge point operators must meet a reliability requirement that ensures rapid public charge points are available 99% of the time. At Shell Recharge, we remain committed to delivering a smooth and reliable EV charging experience for our customers.

In line with the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023, Shell Recharge has submitted the required reliability data for 2025. Our UK network reliability score for 2025 was 97%. While this is below the regulatory target, we continue to invest in improving uptime, accelerating maintenance response, and enhancing overall network performance.

Delivering a dependable charging experience remains a priority for Shell Recharge, and we are focused on continuous improvement to ensure our customers can charge quickly, easily, and with confidence across our network.
