Shearwater Production Increase
Shell U.K. Limited has submitted an Environmental Statement (ES) to BEIS in support of a production consent increase application to be made to the OGA for the Shearwater field in the Central North Sea.
The forecasts increase in production is a result of the following new sidetrack wells coming online in 2017; 22/30b-A15 (known as either SW04s1/2), 22/30b-A16 (known as SW05s2) and SW08s2 (sidetrack of 22/30b-A7, DTI well ID for sidetrack TBC).
The Environmental Statement is now available for the public to view as part of the statutory 28-day public consultation period. The document is available from the following location:
