Arriving at her parked car, she reaches to open the rear passenger door.

As the car door opens, we see her hand reach in and place a big bunch of red and yellow flowers, wrapped in brown paper, on the back seat.

We see the woman smiling, through the windscreen, as she begins her drive home, a blurry Shell pecten reflected in her windscreen.

We cut to a girl sipping from a mug whilst working on her laptop on what looks like a intricate diagram of some sort. She looks cozy and like she is up working late at night. We cut to a close up of her feet crossed in patterned socks.

Now we see a group of friends enjoying a lovely picnic on the beach. Sharing the food and enjoying each other’s company. Then from nowhere a football flies in to picture as someone has accidentally kicked it at them. It luckily just misses our group of friends as they look surprised yet enjoy the funny moment.

We cut to a shot of a teenager with her father, comfortable in their routine, enjoying a supper of soup and bread rolls together at their kitchen table.

We then cut to a tight close-up of the back of a white electric car – badge visible. We can tell that it’s parked in a driveway, as we hear noises from the neighbourhood – kids playing, birds singing. A woman is standing at the open rear door.

We share a strong feeling of optimism as we see the woman open the rear door of the car, reach in and unclip a baby’s car seat, which we see from the back as she takes it out and closes the door.

As you bring it all home

We cut back to the dinner table scene, the teenage daughter smiling as she breaks the last bread roll in half and hands one half to her father.

We then cut to the husband and wife from our sofa scene, as she holds his hand on the sofa.

From there we cut to the ice cream scene and we see the child grinning happily, in profile, as he looks to someone off camera and eats some of the ice cream with his hands.

We cut back to the daughter from our opening scene. She has arrived at her mother’s home, flowers in hand, to share her happy news.

We feel a surge of warmth as we see the women embrace happily, a proud smile on the mother’s face.
