Better Future is Shell's UK campus tour that makes bold predictions about the world of work in 20 years’ time.  Each event has a different topic and October's event took a focus on the 'Future of Diversity/BAME in the Workplace'.

The evening event consisted of an introduction to Shell and the energy industry, a panel discussion on BAME diversity in the workplace and application tips for applying for roles.  The panel was made up of four speakers of which two were; Sonia Meggie, a multi-award-winning business and diversity leader and Izzy Obeng the creator of ‘Foundervine’; and the other two being senior leaders from Shell; Monika Khullar, VP HR United Kingdom and Roland Ilube, Head of MA and Commercial Finance Downstream.

There was a good turnout for the event with students attending from a variety of universities including London School of Economics (LSE), Imperial and Queen Marys.
