Shell offers you all 3 options to pay Spanish motorway tolls:

• with the on-board-unit, VIA T
• with the Servisa Card
• directly with the euroShell Card

VIA T
The VIA T can be used to pay for toll charges on most motorways in Spain. You can rent a VIA T device, an electronic unit mounted on the windscreen of the vehicle.

• With the VIA T you can get a discount of up to 50%. The discount is calculated on the basis of how often the company has used a motorway stretch in a given month.
• With a VIA T device you do not have to stop at the toll station but can drive directly through a special VIA T lane where an electronic registration of the crossing takes place.
• These devices can be rented at the motorway company. When ordering the devices the registration numbers of the vehicles where the device will be  mounted must be stated.

Servisa Card
The Servisa Card can be used to pay for toll charges on all motorways in Spain and Portugal. Discounts of up to 50% are available based on the number of passages per month per card. Each card is valid for 12 months and is renewed annually.

• VAT Refund through Shell’s partner FDE (note that the tickets received at the toll booth must be used to claim VAT refund)

Direct payment with the euroShell Card
Drivers can use the euroShell Card to pay for the tolls at most Spanish motorway companies (currently 80% of the entire network).

Shell InterRoute is a new electronic system for paying the French and Spanish motorway tolls launched beginning of October 2009.

With only one badge on board, Shell InterRoute will make your journey through France and Spain easier! Attach this badge on the windscreen and you will be able to use the specific lanes on motorway tolls without waiting.

This badge includes the technology of TIS PL for France and Via-T for Spain. It applies to all vehicles above 3.5tons.
