Pensioner Liaison Representatives
Retired staff who receive a pension are contacted every 2 years or so by a Pensioner Liaison Representative. They may help to make contact with other agencies, in particular the Shell Pensioners Benevolent Association or SM & BP Pensioners Benevolent Association where financial assistance may be considered.

Interested in becoming a PLR?
Retired staff up to the age of 65 can apply to become a PLR, working part-time on a geographical basis. Training and support is provided from Pensions Administration.
