We are constantly reviewing providers. However the terms cannot be guaranteed to be the cheapest but cover will be provided through reputable insurers and will in general be competitive.  Do carry out your own research to ensure that what is being offered is the most suitable for your own specific requirements.

Bupa provides health cover, which is available to all retirees and former employees, wives, husbands, partners and any dependant children under the age of 21 (or 24 if in full time education) as members of their policy.

SPA has negotiated special corporate rates on dental insurance for members which spreads the cost of regular visits to the dentist and helps with the cost of treatment.  Call 0800 838951 and quote Shell Pensioners Association.

Select Insurance Services and 50 Plus Insurance Services

Select Insurance Services and 50 Plus Insurance Services offer discounted terms for all classes of personal insurance including household, motor, pet and travel.

These facilities are available to retired staff and their spouse, partners, children, parents, brothers and sisters.

Following negotiations with both Select Insurance Services and 50 Plus Insurance Services, facilities are now available for motor and travel for those members who previously may have had difficulty effecting cover in view of their age.

HMCA
Hospital and Medical Care offers medical health cover exclusively to professional and membership groups. They offer a free advice line, and, unlike most providers, medical cover is included in most travel abroad. There is no upper age limit.
