TENC-CA UK North Sea sale and transfer completed
Shell U.K. Limited (Shell), Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited, (ExxonMobil), Mobil North Sea LLC (ExxonMobil) and Enterprise Oil U.K. Limited (Shell) yesterday (1st December 2008) completed the final sale and transfer of a number of northern North Sea assets to TAQA Bratani Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA).

Peter Voser to be next Chief Executive of Royal Dutch Shell plc
The Board of Royal Dutch Shell plc today announced that Peter Voser will succeed Jeroen van der Veer as Chief Executive, effective 1 July 2009. Voser (50) is Chief Financial Officer and a Director of the Board since October 2004.

Student named Scotland & Northern Ireland's 'Most Enterprising Student'
A 23-year-old student studying at Heriot-Watt University looks set for business success after winning the title of 'Scotland and Northern Ireland's Most Enterprising Student' at a glittering event in Edinburgh on the 8th of October. Ryan Magee will now attend the UK final of Shell Step's annual search for the "UK's Most Enterprising Student".

Family Day is highlight of Science Week
Over 2000 school children were inspired by a series of science workshops run by the Shell Education Service across Lambeth and Southwark this week. The week culminated on 30 June with a Family Science day which took place at Shell Centre on the South Bank and was attended by over 500 people.

London’s Science Museum takes new £4M Launchpad Gallery into UK classrooms with explosive event
Students at Donibristle Primary School took part in the performance of a brand new science show ‘Danger! High Voltage’. Pupils witnessed high-voltage lightning flashes and electricity conducted through the palm of their hand. The finale saw a caged mobile phone zapped with ¼ million volts of electricity.

Update on Incident at Bacton Gas Plant
Shell U.K. Limited can confirm that on 28th February at 17:42hrs, a fire occurred in the waste water system at the Shell operated Bacton Gas Terminal on the Norfolk coast. The fire was quickly and safely extinguished and the Plant shut down safely.
