Visit Make the Future London

As part of the festival, we’re inviting school groups to join us at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on Thursday 30 June or Friday 1 July 2016.

Students will take a journey into the future of energy. They will have the opportunity to explore how we use and create energy in everyday life and will have a chance to take part in:

  • Hands-on activities
  • Interactive science shows
  • Science and engineering competitions
  • Engaging careers experiences

Pupils can watch teams battle it out in the world famous Shell Eco-marathon student mileage competition, which challenges more than 200 teams from all over Europe to design and build the most fuel-efficient vehicles. We’ll also announce the winners of our exciting new national schools competition – The Bright Ideas Challenge.

We’re inviting students in Years 6, 7, 8 or 9 to visit us and are offering travel bursaries to local schools. Places are limited so please register your interest today – it’ll be a great way to round off the summer term.
