Shell progressing the world’s first commercial gas carbon capture and storage project

Today, Wednesday 20 March, the Peterhead Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Project has progressed to the next stage of the UK Government’s CCS Commercialisation Competition. The project could be the world’s first commercial scale full-chain demonstration of CCS from a gas-fired power station.
